Collection: Analog Amplifiers

Analog amplifiers take incoming audio signals and strengthen them before outputting those signals to your desired destination. If you are setting up a sound system specifically for audio content, amplifiers are an excellent place to start.

It is important to remember that depending on the type of amplifier you get, the level of control you have over routing sound is typically more limited than that of a receiver. This is to say that the primary function of an analog amplifier, outside of driving sound, is gain control and not usually controlling source selection, volume, or other controls that manipulate output sound.
