The SonicOS architecture is at the core of TZ NGFWs. Gen 7 TZs are powered by the feature rich SonicOS 7.0 operating system with new modern looking UX/UI, advanced security, networking and management capabilities. Gen 7 TZ features integrated SD-WAN, TLS 1.3 support, real-time visualization, high-speed virtual private networking (VPN) and other robust security features. Unknown threats are sent to SonicWalls cloud-based Capture Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) multiengine sandbox for analysis.

High Availability provides the following benefits:

• Increased network reliability In a High Availability configuration, the Backup appliance assumes all network responsibilities when the Primary unit fails, ensuring a reliable connection between the protected network and the Internet

FEATURES

• Please note that as this is a High Availability Unit, you cannot use it alone as a primary device. High Availability allows two identical SonicWall appliances running SonicOS to be configured to provide a reliable, continuous connection. One SonicWall device is configured as the Primary unit, and an identical SonicWall device is configured as the Secondary unit. If the Primary SonicWall fails, the secondary SonicWall takes over to secure a reliable connection.
